In honor of Women’s History Month, a concert featuring Biblical Cantatas for voice and continuo by the French baroque composer Élisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre. De la Guerre’s cantatas bring biblical stories to dramatic life through operatic monologues and dialogues. The concert will also feature works by de la Guerre’s influence, Nicolas Bernier. This concert will take place in our serene Sanctuary and utilize our Baroque-style Coulter tracker organ.
